We accept insurance (Blue Cross & Aetna) for acupuncture and physical therapy.
Dear Lavender Retreat Family and Friends.
This week, Lavender Retreat will be open on Tuesday June 23rd, Saturday June 27th, and Sunday June 28th.
We would like to inform you of how we can help you to stay fit and healthy and how we are responding to the pandemic.
Please download, review and sign our client expectations guidelines
Our staff is here to support you and we remain committed to providing you with the highest level of service possible in a safe and healthy environment. As our staff are at the front-line, we are practicing stringent sensitization and safety procedures. These include daily facility disinfection of floors, (restrooms, door handles, counter tops and surfaces), wiping down each room after every treatment with 99% alcohol, thorough hand washing, use of hand sanitizers and air sanitizers.
We have also introduced the following changes to protect staff and clients:
Our staff will not be working if they have signs of a cold, fever and illness. When our staff enters the facility, all staff are required to change their shoes and wear only indoor shoes. Also, during any service, all staff are required to wear a face shield throughout the duration of your service to ensure safety. Our staff is using hand sanitizer and will disinfect the face cover prior to each new session.
You must wear a mask upon entering our facility, there are absolutely no exceptions.
Upon arrival you are required to wear a mask (your own or you can purchase one from our facility) and hand sanitizer will be provided by LR. You will need to remove shoes at the door, so please bring a pair of socks or we will provide you with foot covers. Also, we will check your temperature and require a disclosure signature before your appointment. Any temperature above 99.6 will mean we can’t service your appointment.
The Disclosure signature is a detailed advised health procedure that all businesses are required to receive from the client to ensure that you have not been exposed to Covid-19 in any way to ensure health and safety for everyone.
We have the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow state laws.
If you have to cough or sneeze during a treatment, please do so into your elbow rather than your hands.
During your treatment, you will only be required to wear a mask while on your back. When you first enter the room, your therapist will have you start on your stomach and you are not required to wear a mask.
Please spray your hands with hand sanitizer before and after the session. Hand sanitizers are located throughout the facility.
To minimize the transmission of Covid-19, we are no longer massaging faces. Clients are welcome to have water; however, we will be switching to individual disposable cups, rather than using glass.
In order to serve you better, we have updated our session rates below:
Hours of Operation:
Anyone, who has purchased a package, please contact Jaime Bohl. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or questions. Let us all support each other during this difficult time. This is a new way of life that we are facing with Covid-19 health regulations.
During this break, Lavender Retreat has changed a few things to accommodate our clients so that they feel clean, safe and comfortable during their visit with us.
We are monitoring updates from various public health agencies and will continue to adjust our policies to ensure the utmost safety and cleanliness. Please stay fit and strong and take care of yourselves and those close to you. With Summer in DC, there are better times ahead.
Yours,
Jaime Bohl
Dear Lavender Retreat Family and Friends.
On Monday March 16th at 4:30pm we sent out an announcement that we planned to remain open through the crisis.
Later on that day, the DC Mayor mandated for all health spas and similar establishments to shut down by 10pm.
In compliance, we have since closed our establishment to the public.
Our entire staff will be working on clean-up our facility so we are fully ready when our doors are once again open to the public.
We wish you all good health and safety as we navigate the days and weeks ahead.
Yours,
Jaime Bohl
